Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. AHT carries comprehensive general liability coverage, and a certificate of insurance is available on request. Certificates are sent directly to your office or your compliance contact.
-
Most work is performed on site, where the equipment operates. Component procurement, prep, and sub-assembly work are completed in AHT's shop and delivered to the job. Select jobs are taken in-house for drop-off and pick-up.
-
Cracks are excavated to sound metal before welding rather than welded over. Work is performed to AWS D1.1 under written welding procedure specifications, and reinforcement addresses the cause of the failure rather than the visible symptom. Job weld records and photographs are issued at closeout.
-
AHT serves twelve Northern California counties: Shasta, Trinity, Siskiyou, Humboldt, Tehama, Glenn, Butte, Colusa, Lake, Yuba, Mendocino, and Sutter. Mobilization beyond that area is quoted on request.
-
For larger or scheduled projects, a deposit may be required prior to mobilization and material procurement. Deposit requirements are stated in the proposal before any work is scheduled.
-
Service requests receive a response the same business day. Equipment that is down takes priority over scheduled work, and priority response scheduling is available for accounts that require it.
